This song plays during the opening of the movie that saved my life:  Less Than Zero.

It was on Tuesday night, and if you follow me on Twitter, you saw a glimpse of what my next blog will be about.  Of course you have to first get past the Tyrese & Lil Kim jokes but it is there.

I am not going to post it yet, I need to change some of the names to protect the innocent, and alter details and the like, but it will be my next blog ….. How Less than Zero & the midget Dominant saved my life.

In the meantime I give words & lyrics to the Bangles version (the Simon & Garfunkel version does nothing for me even though I love the song)

LYRICS
Time, time, time, see what’s become of me
While I looked around
For my possibilities
I was so hard to please
But look around, leaves are brown
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

Hear the salvation army band
Down by the riverside, it’s bound to be a better ride
Than what you’ve got planned
Carry your cup in your hand
And look around, leaves are brown now
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

Hang on to your hopes, my friend
That’s an easy thing to say, but if your hope should pass away
It’s simply pretend
That you can build them again
Look around, the grass is high
The fields are ripe, it’s the springtime of my life

Ahhh, seasons change with the scenery
Weaving time in a tapestry
Won’t you stop and remember me

I look around, leaves are brown now
And the sky is a hazy shade of winter

Look around, leaves are brown
There’s a patch of snow on the ground…

Look around, leaves are brown
There’s a patch of snow on the ground…

Look around, leaves are brown
There’s a patch of snow on the ground…
